Hi, I’m James, the owner of
Harbor & Hue Films.

In 2013, I filmed my very first wedding with zero experience and the full trust of a couple I’ll never forget. I went back to school at SUNY Old Westbury, earned my B.A. in Communications with a focus on Digital Video Production, and poured myself into honing my craft — especially the storytelling that happens in the editing process.

My goal has always been simple: to capture my couples as they truly are. I want you to look back at your wedding film years from now and see yourselves, your families, and your friends exactly as you remember them — no stiff poses, no fake smiles, just real moments, told honestly.

When I’m not filming weddings, you can usually find me on a golf course or wandering Long Island’s North Shore. I’m always looking for hidden gems — a new place to eat, grab a drink, and who knows, maybe even shoot a wedding.
